Gun equipped combat robot dog for sale

The US military cannot afford it, but the People's Liberation Army used it first. China's new equipment has greatly damaged the defense of the United States, and it is frankly "unacceptable". What does this new equipment refer to? Why is it said that the US military cannot afford it?

According to the Global Times, citing Taiwan's "Zhongshi News Network", a few days ago, when discussing the annual defense authorization bill, members of the US House of Representatives suddenly mentioned that Chinese Mainland was deploying "robot dogs" with automatic rifles, and asked the Ministry of Defense to assess the threat of such weapons in future potential conflicts.

The robotic dogs mentioned by American politicians are actually the two quadruped robots unveiled by the People's Liberation Army during the Sino Cambodian joint military exercises in mid last month. Now that the exercises have ended for a month, American politicians are still "concerned" about the "threat" brought by the PLA's robotic dogs. This shows that the arrogant and conceited US side is very wary of the PLA's robotic dogs.

It should be pointed out that in this joint military exercise between China and Cambodia, the People's Liberation Army showcased two types of combat robot dogs in one go. One is a lightweight close range reconnaissance robot dog, and the other is a combat robot dog equipped with an automatic assault rifle and skilled in fire suppression.

The reconnaissance mechanical dog weighs about 15 kilograms and is equipped with a power system and a 4D ultra wide angle perception system. It can transmit real-time images and is mainly used to explore the distribution of obstacles on the battlefield. If encountering obstacles or difficult terrain, it can perform actions such as forward, backward, jumping and rolling, and autonomously plan its route. The battery of this robotic dog is also worth mentioning. It is said that it can work continuously for 2 to 4 hours on a single charge, which is already considered a very long endurance for its weight of only about 30 pounds.

The combat robot dog is larger in size, weighing about 100 pounds, capable of carrying 160 pounds, and also carries an automatic assault rifle that can quickly move under the control of soldiers while constantly adjusting the direction of the muzzle. It has the ability to engage in street fighting and can be used to search and strike inside houses.

Two high-tech weapons of the People's Liberation Army have made low-key appearances one after another, not only attracting the attention of the world, but also making the United States tremble with fear. Since the start of the Sino Cambodian joint military exercises until now, American politicians have continuously hyped up the so-called "threat" of robotic dogs, claiming that the People's Liberation Army will use them to carry out "lethal combat missions", violating the moral red line, and should be immediately and severely stopped. They also expressed concerns about the large-scale use of robotic dogs by the People's Liberation Army.

What's even more outrageous is that the United States strongly opposes the People's Liberation Army's use of robotic dogs. The US side claims that dogs are good friends of humans, but the People's Liberation Army uses robotic dogs as killing tools to shoot American soldiers, arming them, which is unacceptable. The United States also stated that it will propose a resolution to the United Nations to prohibit the use of these "killing drones" on the battlefield.

But in fact, the United States started developing quadruped robots earlier than China. In the 1970s, General Electric of the United States, in collaboration with universities such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Waseda University, began developing quadruped robots. In 2005, with funding from the Department of Defense, Boston Dynamics developed the "Big Dog" robot, which quickly caught the attention of the US military.

The US military immediately purchased multiple "Big Dogs" for testing, but there were too many drawbacks. If they were used to equip materials to solve the problem of carrying heavy loads during infantry foot patrols, it would be better to borrow a donkey locally. Later, Boston Dynamics was sold twice by Google and Japan's SoftBank, and the "Big Dog" was never actually put into use.

Obviously, the United States started the research and development of quadruped robots earlier, and they also wanted to put robot dogs on the battlefield, but China came from behind and took the lead in developing and installing military robot dogs. China has already led the United States in this field, and Americans are afraid! This is why the People's Liberation Army's robotic dogs continue to be hyped up as a threat.
