Traditional outdoor lighting requires the installation of lamp posts, scaffolding, etc., which undoubtedly consumes valuable time in emergency response. Some airborne searchlight style lighting or vehicle mounted fixed lamp post lighting equipment are difficult to solve the problem of large-scale continuous mobile lighting.

High altitude tethered illumination unmanned aerial vehicle is a new type of unmanned aerial vehicle system, which is a long endurance unmanned aerial vehicle flight platform that can work at high altitude to illuminate the ground. Our company can provide unmanned aerial vehicles with various loads ranging from 3 kilograms to 45 kilograms on this platform, which can remain in the air for a long time. Generally, the idle time can reach more than 8 hours, and theoretically can meet the continuous operation needs of more than 24 hours.

The high brightness lighting system of the tethered drone is powered by the tethered ground power station and transmits high-voltage power to the drone platform in the air through the tethered cable. It can achieve 24-hour uninterrupted aerial lighting function for the drone, with a maximum hovering height of about 200 meters. This high-altitude illumination drone system can carry up to 160000 lumens (8x20000lm) of lighting to illuminate the ground. In actual testing, a height of 30 meters can illuminate an area of 9000 square meters, and a height of 50 meters can illuminate an area of 15000 square meters.

The system can also be equipped with a 30x zoom camera and a 4G/5G image transmission module. Video signals can be transmitted in real-time through fiber optic or 4G/5G networks, and real-time images can be transmitted to the backend command hall or authorized personnel's mobile terminals for viewing.

In addition, the power supply base station is derived from military products and has the ability to work in harsh weather conditions. It successfully completed the task when the on-site air humidity reached 80% to 90% (normal air humidity did not exceed 50%).
