However, both sides are increasingly turning to cheaper "Kamikaze" (referring to the Japanese spy team that carried out suicide attacks on the US military during World War II) drones.

These are usually commercial grade drones equipped with explosives. They can be controlled from several kilometers away and can hover above the target before attacking.
